I've just returned from a conference on land conservation held in Valdivia, Chile. The timing was a bit crazy - missing the second week of school and just as I begin to establish a groove with training - but it was very thought-provoking and a fascinating chance to glimpse a country I know little about, even if I could not take an extended vacation. The blog now competes with facebook, but here are a few images from the conference, probably not accurately representing the large proportion of time spent indoors and thinking rather than enjoying summertime and the outdoors.
